Carl Gallela

Board Secretary - Communications Coordinator

Carl Gallela is a retired school administrator having spent 38 years as a professional educator in New Jersey. Carl earned an undergraduate degree from Belmont Abbey, a Master Degree from Glassboro College of New Jersey, and completed his doctoral work at Nova University, FL. With his wife, Barbara, he has two daughters and five grandchildren.

Carl is the Secretary for the Board of Directors and assists AFAR with program development to educate the next generation of leaders. Carl also handles student and parent communication and you can find him on at least one archaeological site every summer.
