Karen Wolter

Vice Chair

Karen Wolter is a Partner with the law firm of Bringewatt & Snover, PLLC. Wolter earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin and graduated magna cum laude from Georgia State University College of Law.

Active in the local community, Wolter served on the board of trustees of Davidson Day School from 2002 until 2013 (including chairing the board from 2007-2012) and serves as a Trustee for Young Elites. She also volunteers her legal services with Legal Aid of North Carolina and is a member of the Mecklenburg County and North Carolina Bar Associations. Karen enjoys life in the Lake Norman area with her husband and three children.

For AFAR, Karen is the Vice Chair for the Board of Directors. In addition, she chairs the Governance Committee.
