Tia Hill

Board of Advisors

Tia Hill is the Director of College Counseling at Davidson Day School. Before she joined the DDS team, she spent six years working in the Admission Office at Furman University. Tia earned an undergraduate degree in psychology from Furman University and a Masters of Education in Counselor Education from Clemson University. 

Tia is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Southern Association for College Admission Counselors (SACAC) and the Association of College Counselors in Independent Schools (ACCIS).  Tia and her husband, Clint, live in Belmont, NC.

Tia supports AFAR through her familiarity with academic research and experience with high school education.
